Project Manager Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to develop their skills and progress their career in a challenging and fast paced environment. Working within the Business Applications team you will be responsible for the successful delivery and quality of bespoke software development projects.

You will be involved in the full project management life cycle including; stakeholder management, requirements gathering, monitoring & handling risk, controlling budgets, user acceptance testing, user training and project delivery . Therefore you must be able to demonstrate a solid background in project management and systems analysis, ideally in a software or technology services environment. The ideal candidate will have a technical background and a good understanding of the Microsoft Development stack.

Working closely with a range of clients you will be able to build and maintain effective and productive working relationships and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Previous experience in a client facing role is essential and you must be able to empathise with clients whilst providing high levels of customer service.

You must be highly motivated, with ‘a can do’ attitude and passion for personal development. A proven track record of consistent project delivery is essential.  Attainment of Prince 2 practitioner accreditation would be an advantage.   This role will also include account management responsibilities so experience of this would be an advantage but is not essential.

Location: Durham with some UK travel
Salary: £30 – 40k (plus benefits) dependent upon experience
Type: Full Time/Permanent
