Invitation to Tender (ITT) and System Selection work is carried out frequently by Waterstons and we have struck up working relationships with a vast number of Software Suppliers. Informed choices can be made quickly and your employees will not have to spend time researching hundreds of companies who may never be able to provide you with the system you require. This research could substantially delay the time taken to choose and implement the software. We are completely independent of any software company so we can ensure that an informed and independent choice is made.
The Waterstons process will initially incorporate a Systems Definition adhering to the following road-map:
- Business Process Review & Creation of an Invitation to Tender
Waterstons undertake a Business Process Review (BPR) to understand and document the flow of information across the entire business. We also explore, with your own people, any areas where existing processes may need to be improved or reengineered. Using the findings from the BPR, a draft ITT would be produced and presented to the business.
- Issue of Invitation to Tender and Analysis of Responses
Waterstons would issue the ITT to a long list of suppliers who have responded positively to initial contact. The responses would then be analysed and a report will be produced, containing a short list of potential suppliers with whom discussions will be taken further. The summary report would also highlight benefits and disadvantages of the various solutions, along with a technical and cost analysis.
