My role at Waterstons is...
All about helping people to develop new skills, and pass on their knowledge and experience to others within the business. I plan and manage the Waterstons Academy, our corporate university, which is one of the many ways we support our people to flourish. I'm also responsible for knowledge management - Waterstons folk are wonderfully skilful in a wide range of fields, and it's my job to find creative ways to tap into that knowledge and make sure it's shared around.

My life away from work is...
Very outdoorsy. I'm either playing in the woods with a bunch of kids at the forest school I co-founded, or out and about in the North-East with my own 3 young children. I also enjoy making things with my hands, be it yarn crafts or green woodworking. Alongside this I lead a small group and volunteer in kids' work at Kings Church Durham.
