About the role
As a result of continued growth we are looking for a C# .Net Software Developer with management or team leader experience, to lead the design and development of bespoke software solutions for our growing base of national and international clients. A passion for actively demonstrating and promoting Waterstons’ culture and values is also key to enable our vision and strategy to be realised.
The post holder will be based from our Durham or Scottish office, although flexible working is available, some travel to, and work from clients’ sites will also be required.
With a minimum 5 years’ experience in a development role, you will be educated to degree level or have equivalent industry experience. We are looking for the right person so your passion for technology and problem solving is just as important as technical skills and knowledge.
As well as keeping abreast of emerging technologies and the latest developments, you will also be able to engage, support and mentor more junior team members as part of project delivery teams, share your own knowledge and actively help develop colleagues’ knowledge.
You’ll lead technical presale activities such as creating and reviewing proposals as well as providing consultancy, requirements gathering and creating bespoke solutions that add real business value for our clients.
You’ll also assist with continual innovation and technical direction of the department.
