About the role
We’re looking for a self-starter with a keen interest in cloud (Azure or AWS) and a breadth of exposure to Microsoft technologies. The role is customer facing and the right individual will have the skills and passion to engage in consultancy around infrastructure technologies.
Our company values are imperative to us, and these will come naturally to the successful candidate who will be able to demonstrate these. Our consultants work as part of project teams on complex implementations, and individually on simpler solutions and candidates should be comfortable working in both scenarios.
We’re looking for the right person, not just a specific background. Your passion for technology and problem solving is just as important as technical skills and knowledge.
You’ll build strong relationships with prospective and active customers across the business and act as their trusted advisor; helping them to improve their business through the pragmatic use of technology.
While many of our customers have technical stakeholders, who can understand technical language, many customers do not. You must be able to walk through a technical solution with a non-technical stakeholder, demonstrating how the proposed solution meets the business requirements.
You will have hands-on experience with AWS or Azure and have the ability to design and implement new solutions that use public, private and hybrid infrastructures. The role involves gathering requirements from clients and prospects, proposal writing, technical design & implementation, documentation and handover, and stakeholder management therefore you must be able to converse at various levels within all organisations.
