Ariela Bawol

Bespoke Consultant

I joined Waterstons in July 2016 as a placement student. While studying my A Levels I fell in love with technology because I learned that it can be used to solve problems of any size and, therefore make the world an easier place to live in.

I decided to take a years break from my Computing Science Degree at Newcastle University because I wanted to gain experience in how technology can be used from a business point of view. In April 2015 I attended a guest lecture where Sally Waterston presented the company's brand house and core values. Her passion for using IT as a tool to help people truly inspired me, so I sought out the position of Bespoke Consultant. I am now looking forward to working within a team of incredibly creative people to produce software that solve customer problems and add value to their business.

Outside of work

In my free time I like to keep up with the newest technology trends and observe how the world around us is constantly evolving due to technological advances.

I am also passionate about travelling, photography and cooking. You don't need to ask me twice about going to a new place - whether it's in the UK or somewhere further away. Although I'm not a professional photographer, I will definitely take my Canon camera with me. Being able to capture a special moment on a photograph and share it with others brings me enormous joy. I also like to try new dishes so that I can recreate them at home to share with family and friends.
