Finance Manager

In my previous life before joining Waterstons I have had many roles, including, interior decorator and FE tutor of Basic Skills, volunteer work in mental health.

I joined Waterstons in 1997 as ‘The Office Manager’ when the company was a partnership with 7 employees. The original girl Friday, I worked part-time but this quickly expanded to full time around a year later. My role covered all aspects of the accounts but I also found myself working on many other areas of the business.


My role as Finance Manager is now part-time but can still cover many things outside the normal scope and this always makes work life interesting. Continuing responsibility for the smooth running of the accounts on a daily basis my strengths have always been cash management and the relationships this requires.


Gardening and Yoga are my main passions but I have many others when time allows such as reading, walking, decorating, restoring furniture and browsing antique/flea markets.
