Business continuity

We will work with you to review or create your business continuity plans, and facilitate a customised desktop rehearsal exercise that tests and verifies the effectiveness of your response arrangements, and highlights any opportunities for improvement of your organisation’s resilience.

Strategic risk management

Strengthen your risk management with a review of your risk and compliance functions, and how they inform senior leadership. The service will review current frameworks and documentation, including outputs from your existing risk management functions, and we’ll run collaborative workshops to examine how you can best manage risk. You will receive a report outlining key findings, a target model and phased recommendations to enhance your risk management maturity.

Red Flag Cyber assessment

Waterstons will conduct a red flag cyber assessment to evaluate your cyber maturity and resilience to attack, in a lightweight engagement. Covering areas including asset, vulnerability, identity and supply chain management, it will review the most likely areas of susceptibility to attack.

Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF) review

The CAF is being used by regulators to improve the cyber resilience of the United Kingdom. Waterstons are on the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) Cyber Resilience Audit scheme, which enables us to audit against the CAF to a level that is accepted by regulators and the Government. Many organisations in non-regulated sectors are moving to the CAF to understand their cyber resilience and to align with a common framework.

Penetration testing

Waterstons has a team of dedicated penetration testers who use the same types of tools as hackers to find vulnerabilities and misconfigurations. This enables you to fix them and stop an adversary from using them in an attack.

We offer network, web app, active directory, M365 and physical security testing.

Incident response and recovery

Our Incident Response team is available 24x7x365 to support you through a critical cyber incident. This can range from an advisory role to support with an existing SOC or IR provider to a full response and recovery team.

Training sessions

We specialise in cyber security-focused training sessions, and these can vary from whole organisation level cyber awareness to board briefing packs. We also run interactive exercises to bring the topic to life and increase awareness and appreciation for business resilience across an organisation.
