I joined Waterstons in July 2015 as a Placement student and returned back in July 2017 as a Graduate. I studied Ethical Hacking for Computer Security at Northumbria University.

I am now a Team Leader on our Managed Services Service Desk, ensuring that remote support for clients’ systems is running smoothly. I help make continuous improvements to our Service Desk, constantly updating our processes and tools to make sure we are providing the best service for our clients.

I started my career on the Service Desk which included monitoring clients’ infrastructure and end user computing. I also had the opportunity to visit client sites to better understand the hardware and networks I was supporting. While on the desk, I gained valuable troubleshooting skills and I also qualified in ITIL Foundation, DCIE and others.

Outside of work I like to game a lot, but I also enjoy hill walking with friends. I am a Duke of Edinburgh Assessor and Supervisor which gets me out and about, and it also improves my teamwork and communication with lots of different people - skills which I have transferred back to my work on the service desk.
