NCSC accredited Cyber Incident Exercising providers
We're proud to share that Waterstons is a Cyber Incident Exercising scheme accredited provider.
What is it?
The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) Cyber Incident Exercising (CIE) scheme helps organisations rehearse and strengthen their response to serious cyber incidents. It provides access to accredited providers who run realistic, scenario-based exercises, letting leadership teams find out exactly how they'd handle a significant cyber event in a controlled, risk-free environment.
The scheme focuses on improving decision-making, coordination, and response readiness. Senior leaders come away knowing their plans are solid and their teams are ready, before a real incident tests them.
Why did we go for it?
Because, being assessed by the NCSC against their CIE Technical Standard before granting accreditation, means we've earned the right to design and run controlled tabletop and live-play exercises that meet the official standard.
It means clients can trust that what we run is the real thing, not a box-ticking exercise.
What is the benefit of NCSC Cyber Incident Exercising?
You get exercises that accurately reflect real-world incidents, run by a team the NCSC has independently verified.
That means genuine insight into where your response holds up and where it doesn't. Where decisions slow down under pressure. Where communication breaks down. Where the gaps are, before they matter.
