Reaction: Cyber Security and Resilience Bill policy statement
The UK Government has today (April 1st) issued a policy statement surrounding the upcoming Cyber Security and Resilience Bill, and our Associate Director for Cyber Security, Stewart Hogg, reflects on the sneak peeks at what it intends to bring out in the biggest cyber security shake up in over a decade.

Associate Director - Cyber
The policy statement includes information around:
- The number of new sectors and new providers that it impacts
- A strong focus on adoption of the NCSC Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF)
- How over 1000 Managed Service Providers will need to investigate their compliance in order to continue providing services
- An enhanced focus on critical suppliers
- The regulators scope for reporting will be more carefully looked at
- Alignment with NIS2
