Talking up TechUP

We are officially partners with Durham University's TechUp!

Categories

Sector Principal - Education

TechUP specialises in running blended learning programmes which train individuals from minority groups into entry level tech roles.

Developed in collaboration with industry, TechUP programmes include a mix of training in relevant tech skills, one to one mentoring, empowerment and confidence building. Our flexible approach to training ensures that anyone can benefit whatever their learning style and other commitments.

"I’ve been involved in TechUPWomen from day one, supporting the initial bid creation and I am delighted that we at Waterstons are now partners. TechUP provides women who haven’t previously had the opportunity, to gain digital skills and training, leading to careers in tech."

Julie Swinbank, Higher Education Practice Lead

We are actively supporting TechUPWomen which is launching a new course, Click Start., developed with tech industry specialists and delivered alongside Catch 22.

It’s specifically for women and non-binary people resident in the North and North East of England and designed to provide learners with the knowledge and skills they need to start a career in the tech sector.
